Calgary Maker Faire – September 8th, 2012

All of Calgary is invited to take part in the Calgary Mini Maker Faire. Come explore the creative ingenuity of the local makers and artists. This is a family friendly event and children are welcome and encouraged to take part.

September 8th, 2012 from 10:00 am to 6 pm. The Bass Bus, food trucks and large demos will be happening outside of the fenced area during and after the Faire (until 11PM).

Calgary’s Mini Maker Faire is an outdoor event. Tented facilities are available in the event of inclement weather, but you should be ready for whatever Calgary’s weather decides to throw at us that day. Rain or shine, the festival will go on!

Food trucks will be present at this event.

Parking: Street parking is available, as well as a small lot between 6th Ave SE and Confluence Way SE.
Transit: The nearest CTrain station is three blocks away at 7th Ave & 3rd St SE (City Hall station). Bus stop numbers 7251, 6410, 5056, 6507, 3886, 3917, 7100 & 5610 are on routes 1, 31, 302, 305 & 411 and are within a few blocks of the venue.
Bicycles: We have a separate fenced-off area that provides a bike valet service for participants and spectators of the event. This service is included with your ticket price.
Handicap Parking: There will be a few handicap parking spots along Confluence Way in front of The Simmons Building.

Pets are permitted. Smoking is not permitted. Maker Faire reserves the right to inspect any packages brought into the park by patrons. Glass containers and alcohol are strictly prohibited. Alcohol is available for purchase on site in the Beer Gardens.
